Overview

Fairview Container Terminal was the first dedicated ship to rail container terminal in North America. It began operation in 2007 and has grown to become a major Trans-Pacific gateway.

Magna IV Engineering's scope of work included testing of outdoor and indoor substation equipment at the Fairview Terminal - 5 substations consisting of:

  • 69kV SF6 circuit breakers
  • 69kV disconnect switches
  • 69kV oil filled transformers
  • 12.5 kV vacuum circuit breakers
  • 12.5 kV switchgear
  • 12.5 kV to 480 V dry type power transformers, protective devices
