Course Description
The QEW training course covers information applicable to all electrical workers that work on apparatus rated higher than 750 volts. It includes all legislative requirements applicable to electrical workers, as well as the CSA Z462 (Workplace Electrical Safety) Standard. This course provides technical content and hands-on training for power systems equipment.
All attendees will be required to complete a competency exam and achieve a minimum passing grade of 70%. A practical demonstration of the skills learned will also be required for completion of the course.
